A native of Washington, D.C., Charley Varipapa is a 1984 Graduate of University of Maryland Dental School. He served as faculty member from 1986 to 1991 as well. He has completed extensive post-doctoral training at:

He is the founder and former president of the Patuxent Dental Society and the Bob Barkley Study Club. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1984.

Dr. Varipapa trains dentists nationally on listening communication, and dental practice management. He has been involved mentoring dental students and new dentists for over 15 years. Dr. Varipapa is a member of the American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental Society, The California Dental Society, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society where he serves on the patient relations and peer review board. He is currently the Program Chair of the Northern Virginia Dental Society and the Alexandria Dental Society.

Additionally Dr. Varipapa is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is licensed in Virginia, Maryland and California.

Charley resides in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and enjoys cooking, the arts, traveling and relationships he has forged with people through the course of his life. He loves his work and the people he meets everyday.
